Dropped the ball...

But I've picked it back up!! So after my last OCJFTB post, I did pretty good with the working out and eating better. But then I dropped the ball. It happens. But I've picked it back up again and I'm on Day 2 of my exercise/eat right routine. I know it's kind of strange to post on only the 2nd day, but I figure if I remind myself of how great I'm feeling, I'll be more inclined to keep it up. :)

Yesterday was a great day! I was up early, so I decided to hop on the treadmill. I just did a short walk but I definitely felt it! And I felt great for the rest of the day! I had tons of energy during class and didn't even need a power nap at work! That's a first. haha. I even prepared some snacks to eat throughout the day. My nibble snack was a bag of almonds. They are super yummy and perfect for sneaking at work. :)

Today it took me a little longer to hop on the treadmill. I was dressed for working out as soon as I got up, but I did anything I could to procrastinate it. That's just how I roll. haha. I finally got my butt in gear and took a walk and lifted some weights while I watched Conan. It was a good time! I'm already feeling the energy kick in. Time to go eat some yummy strawberries!

Just gotta keep reminding myself that this is for ME! A healthy Jodi is a happy Jodi, and I love being happy!! :)
