A habit you wish you didn't have
Oh geez... where do I even start?! I have a lot of bad habits that I wish I could shake. I think the one that has been the most bothersome to me lately is my habit of just tossing stuff on my bed. When I get home from shopping... I toss the recently bought goodies on my bed. When I'm frantically searching the pile of freshly laundered clothes that I have yet to hang up for something to wear... I toss the unwanted items on my bed. When I'm looking for a quick hiding place for presents... I lift up my blanket and toss them on my bed. When I'm trying to clean up another room in the house and my first step is to get my things out of that room... I toss those things on my bed. I think you get the idea.
Most recently this lil' habit of mine became a huge inconvenience. All these lil' occurances, among others, happened at one time and my bed was a heaping pile of foolishness! I ended up sleeping on the couch for a week-ish because I was too overwhelmed with the pile to clean it up. I even had a bit of a breakdown one night whilst trying to take care of it. But the good news is that I did it! I was able to clean it off, put everything in its place, and have a fabulously restful night of sleep. Ahhh, sweet relief.
Now I just have to keep myself from creating that heaping pile of foolishness again. Heaven help me!
